Our online adoption center is a fantastic way to find your next pet. You can search our database for a variety of animals that are currently waiting adoption in a shelter near you. Search by animal, breed, age, sex and location.

Animal shelters can also register for free and add, edit or delete posts 24 hours a day.

We can also provide Pet Protect vouchers for your adopters.

Payment
Payment is made by Paypal and at present this is the only way we accept payment. We do not accept cheques or postal orders. If you are experiencing any difficulties with making payment or do not hold a credit or debit card please email us at customerservices@paws4thought.org  for further options.
Delivery
Your membership card and key fob should arrive with in 5 working days, though we aim to deliver within 2 working days. In circumstances outside of our control delivery may take up to 21 days.
Refunds
No refunds will be given once the subscription has been purchased.
Confidentiality
We obviously hold personal details of our subscribers; but under no circumstances will we sell, loan or rent customer details to any other party. We also comply with all regulations that cover holding personal information in a secure and correct manner. 
Updating details
It is essential that the details we hold for you are exact and up to date. It is wholly the responsibility of the subscriber to do this. Failure to do this could result in the wrong contact details being on our system and we accept no responsibility for failing to be able to contact nominated caretakers if we do not have the correct, current detai
The Service

Our service commences when we are informed that you have been involved in an emergency situation. Should we fail to be notified we cannot be held responsible for your pet(s) not receiving care.

We DO NOT personally rescue your pet(s) - this is done by your nominated carers and on no account are we to be held responsible should they fail to act as they have been asked to. Once we are informed the pet(s) are safe by telephone we accept this and do not accept any responsibility for being given false or misleading information by the carers. We are not responsible for the level of care given to your pets whilst with your nominated carers. We are not responsible for the length of time it takes your carers to reach your pets but our service does not end until we are informed the pets are with the carer.

By subscribing to the service you agree that entry to your property by your nominated carers is allowed and you are aware that if the carer does not hold a key to your home that damage may be caused to gain entry. RescueMyPet cannot be held responsible for any damage caused.
Lost Cards & Replacements
Should you lose your card or key fob the charge for replacement is £3.50 including p+p

Pet Protect Service

Paws 4 Thought goal is to ensure your pet or pets are cared for in your absence. If you happen to be involved in an accident and cannot return home to care for your pet or pets, emergency medics are trained to search for ID, and by carrying the Paws 4 Thought card and key fob they will be able to contact us via our 24 hour help line and let us know that arrangements are needed for your pet or pets. Paws 4 Thought will then contact those listed on your designated caretakers list to arrange care for your pet or pets. About the Founder

Adopt Centre

Shane Gray has been involved in animal welfare for the past ten years and with an interest in web design, he decided to combine the two and so created the original Paws 4 Thought.org website.

It has since grown to become a popular resource for both pet lovers and animal rescue organisations alike.

Unlike many other sites, the aim of Paws 4 Though is not to concentrate on profit, but to make sure the site is user friendly and offers real community spirit and services that fit the needs of everyone that uses our site.

In 2009 Shane decided to update the site and incorporate many new features; this took a while but with the help of fellow pet lover, Scott Pack; the site was given a facelift to what it has now become.

We look forward to growing our site with the help of you; the devoted pet lover, and hope that we bring to you a valued resource for the care of pets.
